Dr. Harris and Family
Dr. Markham Harris, D.D.S., has helped thousands of patients with their dental needs in his many years of practice.
He is a gentle dentist who takes the time to listen. Dr. Harris cares about his patients and will fully explain the treatments and answer any questions you might have.
Originally from Idaho Falls, ID, Dr. Harris received a bachelor’s degree in art from Brigham Young University and then went on to dental school at Creighton University in Omaha, NE.
After spending a year in Columbia and four years in Idaho, where he worked as an associate dentist, Dr. Harris and his family wanted to be closer to his wife’s family, who live in Oakland, IA.
Dr. Harris and his wife, Christy, opened the dental practice on May 5, 2009. She works as the office manager and they have five additional employees, Ashley Cady, Tracy Smith, Nicole Spire, Cecily Lanier, and Karri Genthe-Henderson.
When Dr. Harris is not busy working or spending time with his family, he enjoys playing golf and tennis and painting. He and his wife, Christy, have three children - Anson, Bella, and Sofiya.
